New video of Andrei Sannikov’s arrest (Photo, video)

“Leave him alone, his leg is broken!” people were shouting, but the presidential candidate was seized all the same.

A new video record of the arrest of Belarus’ presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov and his wife Iryna Khalip on December 19 at Victory Square in Minsk have appeared at the website of the European Radio for Belarus.

We remind that Sannikov was beaten by riot policemen men in Independence Square, his leg was injured. The politician was being transported to hospital, however special forecs' men intercepted the car.

Andrei Sannikov is still incarcerated in the KGB pre-trial detention facility, and the measure of restraint for Iryna Khalip has been changed for home arrest a few days ago.
