People detained at Bruzgi checkpoint sentenced to fines

According to information from the Hrodna Region Court, about 15 cases were considered today.

A source did not say the exact number of cases and amounts of fines. It is only known that all people in the temporary detention facility were tried, “Nasha Niva” reports.

There is information that fines were from 70 to 75 basic units: 2,450,000-2,625,000 rubles.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports about 22 persons, who were detained during protests at Bruzgi border checkpoint. They demanded to cancel Lukashenka’s decree of June 11 restricting fuel export. Drivers blocked the border with their cars. The chairman of the Hrodna region executive committee, Syamyon Shapira, arrived at the border, but talks with protesters ended with dispersal and detentions.
