Palina Kuryanovich arrested for 15 days

An activist of European Belarus civil campaign detained at the silent protest action has been thrown behind bars on accusation of hooliganism.

Palina Kuryanovich stood trial behind closed doors. The sentence was given by judge Paulyuchuk.

More than 150 persons were detained in Minsk yesterday at a rally. Reports on administrative offences were drawn up against some people. They stand trials in different courts of Minsk.
