Activists of European Belarus civil campaign carried out a picket of solidarity with Zmitser Bandarenka near the 5th hospital in Minsk.

“We draw attention to the fact that Zmitser Bandarenka needs full rehabilitation. The 2-week rehabilitation promised by the prison authorities does not solve the problem of the political prisoner. Leading neurosurgeons, who consult his wife Volha Bandarenka, recommended at least a month of rehabilitation under control of specialists,” a coordinator of European Belarus campaign said.

Activists also handed out leaflets near Frunzenskay metro station with the statement by European Belarus campaign regarding the situation with Zmitser Bandarenka.

We remind that the statement said about inhuman treatment by the authorities, which can lead to permanent disability of the political prisoner and urged to show solidarity with the political prisoner in the difficult situation.
