Yury Khashchavatski: Lukashenka hopes to trick Europe once again

The Belarusian dictator is trying to use the political prisoners in trading with Europe, film director believes.

“It is obvious that Lukashenka suggests the West a bargain: he will release a prisoner if they give him money,” well-known Belarusian director Yury Khashchavatski told charter97.org. According to the expert, Europe is not likely to be sold on the leader’s new lies.

“Lukashenka is sending signals to the West, to those who still don’t know him. The old politicians learnt for a long time ago, that he’s not the one to have business with, that he’s a cheater. In Europe, however, the powers change. And Lukashenka counts on fresh fools. But I believe that there are no fools there as far as Lukashenka is concerned. Apart from cynical, amoral businessmen who are only concerned with their affairs. Fishing is easy in the dark Belarusian waters.” According to Yury Kashchavatski, the pseudo-democratic organisations in Europe that lobby Lukashenka’s interests and Western counteragents of the Belarusian criminal business pressing European governments are the two factors behind Lukashenka’s words.

”By making such statements, Lukashenka counts on the committees that lobby his interests via Belarusian “democratic” offices in Europe, funded by the Belarusian powers. These offices act as a Trojan horse. Our special services spread viruses not only in computer networks, but also in democratic networks.” “The statements from the so-called democratic offices, that protect interests of the Belarusian oligarchs and special services, demonstrate it clearly. What happened last was one of such offices in Poland saying that the “elections” resulted in Lukashenka’s victory. The one who gave this evaluation is either an idiot or has been paid to say so. There’s no other variant,” the well-known director said.

“Lukashenka is also hoping to get support from Lithuanian counter-agents of the Belarusian criminal business. The dissolvent-diluents smuggling business is a sheer crime, impossible to commit without counter-agents in the West. And they will do everything to keep these schemes, they are pressing their governments. And all that is moving towards the European Union. And Lukashenka is saying: give up, we are ready to trade,” Yury Khashchavatski pointed out.

We remind that on 11 October the Belarusian dictator took farewell of his old ”chamber”. Delivering his speech on the final session of the two chambers of the “parliament” of the 4th summon, Lukashenka said that there should not be any rush with changing the Belarusian election legislature and the system of forming the “parliament”. “Even if the external pressure remains strong, we will gather around a personality, in order to live as a state, as a nation. As for now, they don’t want to accept that; they are saying that since they cannot take us as we are, they will have to think of other ways to influence Belarus and this society,” he said.
