KGB arrested a Russian “Bolotnaya case” lawyer

Belarusian KGB detained a Russian attorney Maxim Korotkov-Guliaev in Minsk.

The information was announced by the colleagues of Maxim Korotkov-Guliaev, ann attorney of one of the people involved in the “Bolotnaya case”, who had his apartment searched recently.

Accroding to a lawyer Alexandr Vasiliev, Maxim Korotkov-Guliaev’s colleague, Maxim informed him about his detention over the phone, gazeta.ru reports.

“He told me the following: he was in Minsk and was being detained by the Belarus’ security services. That’s it, that’s when the connection died”, - Vasiliev told.

Maxim Korotkov-Guliaev represents Richard Sobolev, one of the people under investigation over the case about the mass disturbances in Bolotnaya square in Moscow in May this year. This year he said that his apartment was searched with police taking the Sobolev’s dossier and a large sum of money. At the same time he claimed that he called police himself to tell about some crime. In the capital’s police department they said that the police that came allegedly found a grenade’s model in Korotkov-Guliaev’s house and took him to a police department for explanations.
