Makey invited the UN Secretary-General to Belarus

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Uladzimir Makey confirmed his invitation to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to come visit Belarus, the press-service of the Belarusian MFA informs.
“Uladzimir Makey had a meeting with the UN Secretary-General and discussed the urgent issues of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the United Nations. Particularly, Makey confirmed the invitation to the UN Secretary-General to pay Belarus a visit”, - the foreign ministry’s report notes.
In New York the head of the Belarusian MFA also had negotiations with the Secretary-General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Ahmet Üzümcü.
