The Finance Minister hopes for receiving another tranche of the stabilizing loan from the anti-crisis fund of the Eurasian Economic Community.
“The main goal of the program is to ensure the macroeconomic balance, this is written in the framework of the anti-crisis fund’s program. I think we will be guided by it and achieve it. But there are no static indicators, because the situation is changing and what we formulated earlier – it was adopted quite long ago. But I don’t see any threats for our work to be assessed (from the side - Interfax) as unsuccessful”, - Andrei Kharkovets said to the news agency Interfax-Zapad on Thursday during a hot-line session organized by Narodnaya gazeta newspaper.
“In the comments preceding the previous tranche it was mentioned that Belarus didn’t accomplish to reach a number of indicators. Nevertheless once checked it turned out that it is not like it sounded initially in the comments made by some experts”, - the minister reminded. In connection with that “I wouldn’t like to rush the things”, - he added.
According to him “in about a week or a bit later we are expecting for the anti-crisis fund to come and we will start working with them on this issue, and when we receive first results and assessments on their part there will be discussions and then we will be able to answer this question substantially”.
