200 Slonim dwellers may lost jobs

Workers of the Slonim Dairy Factory may become unemployed.
The factory and Shchuchyn Butter and Cheese Factory will soon merge, Viasna human rights centre reports.
People write collective letters to different agencies asking for help, but their appeals are being ignored. Director of Shchuchyn Butter and Cheese Factory Syarhei Lozhachnik and chairman of the Slonim district executive committee Iosif Paulyukevich promise people will be given work.
Slonim dwellers do not believe the promises. Factory workers say these are attempts to calm them down, but no one will offer them jobs in reality. As many as 206 people will found themselves unemployed in a little town.
