New Israeli ambassador served as machine gunner in Uruchye

Yosef Shagal, the new ambassador of Israel to Belarus, said in an interview to STV channel he had served as a machine gunner at Rahachou division in Urychye (the Minsk district) and even had a cold injury.

Besides, he runs an hi tech firm in Belazersk producing fish (African carp). The firm produces 700 tonnes of fish per year.

The ambassador said in an interview his wife and he admired the beauty of Belarusian girls.

“A friend of mine told me he was walking with a Turkish diplomat and he said to him: 'It's impossible! So pretty girls live there. It distracts me from work.' My friend said “Listen, I'm here with my wife.' And he answered 'You have my sympathy.” I am here with my wife, but it does not hinder me to admire beauty,” the ambassador noted.
