Ivan Shyla has allergy aggravation in jail

Young Front activists try to pass medicines for the activist in a detention centre in Akrestsin Street.

They think jail staff may refuse to accept the parcel. In this case, they will try to pass it to a jail doctor, Radio Svaboda reports.

Ivan Shyla's face and eyes swelled, a lawyer said after a meeting with the activist on February 17. Ivan does not have any other complaints.

The activist is to stay in custody 19 days more. He was detained in Minsk near the PEN Centre office on February 14 before the award giving ceremony “I love Belarus” organized by Young Front.
