One more journalist in Hrodna summoned to prosecutor`s office

One more journalist in Hrodna has been summoned to the city prosecutor’s office over his cooperation with a foreign media outlet, reported a human rights group called Vyasna (Spring) on Saturday.

Viktar Parfyanenka, a reporter at Polish-based Bialoruskie Radio Racja targeting audiences in Belarus, was served Saturday with the summons to show up at the prosecutor`s office on February 21.

Earlier this week, the Hrodna City Prosecutor`s Office issued an official warning to freelance cameraman Mikalay Dzyatchenya in connection with his work for Belsat TV, a Polish-based Belarusian-language satellite channel that has no accreditation status in Belarus.

Mr. Dzyatchenya was notified of the warning when he visited the Hrodna City Prosecutor`s Office on Thursday.
