Another Air Force and Air Defence commander “disposed off”

Syarhei Lemyasheuski, Major General, has been released from his position as Air Force and Air Defence Commander.

He has been transferred to the reserve “for committing offences discrediting his status of a military serviceman.”

Such a decree was signed by Alyaksandr Lukashenka on February 20.

We remind that Syarhei Lemyasheuski (Sergei Lemeshevski) was appointed Air Force and Air Defence Commander on May 6, 2011 in stead of Ihar Azarenka (Igor Azarenko), who had been released from his position on January 11, 2011 after a criminal case was opened against him.

Major-General Dzmitry Pahmelkin was appointed commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Forces of Belarus instead of Lemyasheuski.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has also signed decrees on releasing some officer holders from their positions.

Colonel Aleh Horbach (Oleg Gorbach) was released from the position of the chief of the National Agency for Verification and Inspection Commission at the Department of Defense and enrolled at the disposal of the Minister of Defense of Belarus.

Police Major General Syarhei Hureeu (Sergei Gureev) was relieved of his post of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - chief of the investigation, and dismissed from the Interior to the reserve of the Armed Forces due to staff redundancy with the right to wear prescribed uniforms and insignia.

By the decree of the president, police Major-General Leanid Farmahey (Leonid Farmagey) has been dismissed from the internal affairs bodies to the reserve of the Armed Forces due to sickness with the right to wear the prescribed uniforms and insignia.
