NBC: Time to put an end to Lukashenka regime (Video)

A film about Belarus was shown on America's biggest NBC channel by prominent American journalist Dan Rather in his Rather Reports programme.

The easiest way to understand a foreign country is through a story of a particular person. In most cases, interest to a foreign country arouses when you suddenly met a dramatic story of country's citizen. Prominent American journalist Dan Rather heard the speech of Natallia Radzina, charter97.org editor, during the awards ceremony organized by the Committee to Protect Journalists. Natallia's speech and her story awoke his interest in Belarus.

Dan Rather decided to make a film about Belarus. About today's Belarus, where dissidents are being killed and thrown into prisons, where the authorities are ruthless in their struggle against opponents, where freedom of speech is a dream, not reality.

His guide to today's Belarusian hell was Natallia Radzina, with whom he got acquainted at the CPJ's awards ceremony. The film is not about her, it is about us, people of Belarus, about our country Belarus, our suffering and the criminal authorities who doomed us to this suffering.
