KGB confirmed Breivik’s affair with a Belarusian

The KGB of Belarus has confirmed the fact of Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik’s visit to Minsk and his contacts with a Belarusian Nadezhda.

“A. Breivik arrived on March 4, 2005 to the national airport Minsk from Wienna on board of OS-687 as a tourist. A. Breivik left Belarus on March 11, 2005, his destination was the airport of Warsaw,” informed the Centre for Information and Public Relations of the KGB of Belarus.

The Centre for Information and Public Relations of the KGB specified that this information had been communicated to the General Prosecutor’s Office of Norway upon a petition for rendering legal assistance.

“The enquiry measures have been held, and it has been confirmed that A. Breivik had not visited Belarus in other periods of time. A possibility of using changed fundamental data was considered for this purpose as well, including the moment of crossing the border,” the KGB added.

According to the information obtained, during his stay in Minsk A. Breivik had contacts with Nadezhda Rutkouskaya, who lived in Sadovaya Street in Uruchcha mini-district then, in a former military housing area of Uruchcha. “This detail was later a cause for speculations about A. Breivik’s visit to a military base,” the KGB source noted.

At the moment N. Rutkouskaya allegedly lives in the US, North Carolina, with her close relatives. In February 2009 she left for Germany.

An answer has been the KGB based upon the inspection findings. It is sent to the General Prosecutor’s Office and is to be brought to notice of the Norwegian side.
