Karahin became messenger boy for Council of Ministers

The head of the Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship delivered a letter  to Brussels from the Belarusian minister of industry.

The letter raises fears that the EU sanctions can make significant damage to the developing business and market economy of Belarus, “Zvyazda” newspaper writes.

Uladzimir Karahin noted he spoke against imposing sanctions and restrictions at all meetings explaining that business and politics should not be mixed.

“A dialogue of business, government and civil society has begun in Belarus. We already have a rather active dialogue between business and the authorities. We work out the annual National Business Platform for Belarus, which is heard by the government. We need to develop a dialogue between the European Union and our country on the same principle,” he says.

It should be noted that Karahin took part in the presentation of the programme “European Dialogue on Modernisation with Belarus” in Brussels, the event which Anatol Lyabedzka, Alyaksandr Atroshchankau and Syarhei Kalakin failed to visit.
