Policeman: We are banned from visiting EU, but Turkey and Egypt are allowed

The Belarusian minister of internal affairs was recently informed to have signed an unusual document.
All policemen, from district police officers to high-ranked officers, are forbidden to travel to Europe, “Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi” newspaper writes.
No one comments on reasons for such a decision, but many link it to the EU sanctions restricting certain policemen, judges and prosecutors to visit the EU countries. The Ministry of Internal Affairs declined to give comments on the document.
“No comments,” the press service replies.
Other police officers avoid to answer.
“You understand it yourselves... We cannot talk on the matter.”
However, nobody hurries to deny this information. Our source confirmed the rumours have grounds.
“It was a ban on visiting Europe, but Turkey and Egypt are allowed,” a policeman says.
It remains unclear whether access to Europe was completely denied for law enforcement officers or special conditions were set to those going to the EU on shopping or on a vacation. It's possible they will have to ask a boss to permit a trip as policemen having relation to state secrets do for many years.
