KGB head’s report on caught spies

On 2 April Belarus’ KGB head Vadzim Zaitsau submitted his report to Aliaksandar Lukashenka.

During the meeting, Zaitsau was talking about how the KGB protects military secrets of the “union state” from neighbor-spies.

According to Lukashenka’s press-service, “the submitted report focused the counter-intelligence measures performed to halt the intelligence activities of a neighboring state who attempted to gain access to secret military information, including data from the security system of the “union state”.

It is not specified what neighboring state is meant.

Corruption and economic crimes were another point on the agenda.
