In Kyrgyzstan demands to recall the Embassy from Belarus

Ondorush Toktonasyrov, the leader of April 7 Movement, demands to recall the Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus.

“The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Belarus doesn’t fulfill its functions, doesn’t defend interests of the country. I spent almost a month in Belarus and picketed the Kyrgyz Embassy voicing the same demand,” Ondorush Toktonasyrov said.

According him, rationale behind recall of the diplomatic mission is escape of the Kyrgyz ex-President Kurmanbek Bakiyev whom Belarus granted asylum after 2010 April events. “I heard he became a citizen of Belarus. Without Kurmanbek Bakiyev, chief person involved in April events, all these court hearings on April events are just a show,” Ondurush Toktonasyrov added.
