Statkevich writes about living conditions in cell

Maryna Adamovich, the wife of Mikalai Statkevich, received a letter from him describing his cell.

“It is the first time he has written about living conditions. He writes he does not see grass through the window. The window has transverse rusty metal plates. When you look through the window, you see only a metal wall with plates. Sunshine can go through only in the morning cheering them up. He writes spring can be felt everywhere, even there,” the woman told Radio Svaboda.

Mikalai Statkevich is in a closed prison in Mahilou.
