Aliyev to visit Belarus

Ilham Aliyev is to visit Belarus in the third quarter of this year.

The statement came from Belarus ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Patskevich.

He said the preparation is currently underway for the meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries that will also be held soon.

"The trade between the two countries may top $100m this year. The 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries will be marked next year. The visit of President of Belarus to Azerbaijan is expected in 2012", Patskevich said.
