Kavalyou's mother to meet with Polish president's wife

The mother and sister of executed Uladzislau Kavalyou have arrived in Warsaw.

They will stay in Warsaw until Friday, May 18. Lyubou Kavalyova, the mother of the killed Vitebsk dweller, is supposed to meet with Anna Komorowska, the wife of the President of Poland on Tuesday, May 15. The First Lady of Poland agreed to support both women in their struggle for imposing a moratorium on the death penalty in Belarus, Euroradio reports.

Kavalyou's mother and sister will visit the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw on Tuesday. A report by Monika Guraliewska, who accompanied Lyoubou Kavalyova in her trips across the country to fight for her son's life, will be shown.

We remind Uladzislau Kavalyou and his friend Zmitser Kanavalau were executed on an accusation of a metro bombing in Minsk.
