Activist cruelly beaten for support of Kavalenka

An activist of “European Belarus” campaign Andrei Mouchan was detained and ferociously beaten by police in Minsk.

In solidarity with Syarhei Kavalenka the activist unfurled a flag near “Pershamajski” supermarket, the press-service of “European Belarus” informs.

In a few minutes a police car arrived. Andrei Mouchan wanted to find out the reason of his detention, and after that policemen used brutal force. While he was beaten right in the street, a second car arrived. Mouchan was handcuffed and placed into the car.

Police department representatives informed that they were going to open criminal cases on charges related insult of the president and beating a policeman on duty.

A sister of Mouchan managed to talk to him. After a conversation with Alyaksandr she learnt that beating continued in the car as well. The preliminary doctor’s opinion, Andrei has a traumatic brain injury, his kidney and legs are inured.

In the morning it turned out that at night Andrei Mouchan was taken away by policemen from the hospital Nr 11 where he had been taken after beating.
