Charter97 website receives threats

After the verdict to Viktar Ivashkievich was passed, anonymous threats filled the comment field of the website charter97.org.

In particular, the following comments were uploaded to the statement of charter97.org’s editor Natallia Radzina on Ivashkievich’s verdict: “The issue of the authors’ anonymity will be solved in the near future”, “you’ll come crawling back to your motherland”, “Charter’s website will be destroyed”…

The powers obviously use the trial of Viktar Ivashkievich, charged for his advocating for economic sanctions against Lukashenka on www.charter97.org, as a way to intimidate charter’s authors.
