Pavel Vinahradau goes on hunger strike in jail

The news was received from the political prisoner himself, who is now in a detention centre in Akrestin Street.

An appeal against the judgement to Pavel Vinahradau and Alyaksandr Artsybashau is to be heard by the Tsentralny district court on June 29. The trial is scheduled for 3:00 pm, Euroradio learned from the court. The court is also likely to hear journalist Pavel Svyardlou's appeal.

We remind both activists were sentenced to 15 days in custody for disorderly conduct on June 22. Artsybashau was detained on June 21 before a toy flashmob, Vinahradau was detained at hone in the evening.
