Seized money and netbook returned after 6 weeks

Officers of a customs office in Ashmyany returned money and a netbook seized from journalist Natallya Verashchahina and leaders of Radioelectronics trade Union Henadz Fyadynich and Ihar Komlik.

An expert examination revealed the money was not false. The seized materials contain no calls for extremist activity, Ashmyany customs officers say, Salidarnasts writes.

We remind leader of the Belarusian Radioelectronics Trade Union Henadz Fyadynich, head of the Minsk city trade union primary organization Ihar Komlik and editor-in-chief of website www.praca-by.info (Belarusian trade union movement) Natallya Verashchahina were taken off the train on the Belarusian-Lithuanain border as they were returning from Vilnius on May 25.

All of them were strip-searched and their personal money was seized.
