Surapin's term of detention to end today

He will be either charged or released today.

The journalist was detained and jailed in KGB prison.

Anton Surapin is suspected of assisting a group of people to cross the border of the Republic of Belarus. According to the Belarusian  legislation, he will be either charged or released today.

Anton Surapin was detained on July 13, 9 days after the flight of the Swedish plane that had brought teddy bears to our country. Surapin was one of the first people to have published photos of Ivyanets teddy bears. KGB detained Minsk realtor Syarhei Basharymau for the same reason. He has been jailed since the evening of July 6.
