And accused Lazavik of violating the chain of command.

Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Belarus Lidia Yarmoshyna told reporters on July 27 that he would not express an opinion on the authorities' decision to invite the mission of the OSCE ODIHR to observe the "elections", reports BelaPAN.

"I have no right to express an opinion on this issue. We are soldiers of the Fatherland. If it will say that the arrival of the observers is useful for the country, the CEC will carry out this decision", - said Yarmoshyna.

According to her, the head of the OSCE ODIHR, Janez Lenarcic, "was shocked" by recent statements of the CEC secretary Mikalai Lazavik. "He did not expect such insubordination", - she said.

As previously reported by the site charter97.org, CEC secretary Mikalai Lazavik said on July 11 at a press conference in Minsk that it can be "enlisted in the opposition," but he "internally he is not agree with an invitation of  the mission of observers from the OSCE". Lozovik said that he " have lost faith in the objectivity of the conclusions of the OSCE mission".
