Alyaksandr and Mikalaj Lukashenka arrived 6 minutes later.

It is unknown why he decided not to wear the uniform of the Chief Commander and why he was late to the parade.

The military parade dedicated to the Republic Day took place in Minsk. About 4 thousand military men and military equipment, including planes and helicopters, took part in the parade.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka had addressed to the people before the parade started. He stressed out the great input of the Belarusian people into the victory over fascism, and noted that the date of July 3 was not chosen accidentally - this is the day when Minsk was liberated. "Peace and stability are granted in today's sovereign Belarus", - Lukashenka said. He reminded that Russia was a strategic partner of our country, and the Russian military men took part in  the parade.

Any attempts of state turnovers and "colour revolutions" will fail in our country, the state leader underlined. He added that the Belarusians "support the political course of the state".

Alyaksandr Lukashenka was wearing plain clothes at the parade, not the military uniform of the Chief Commander as usual.
