Uruchcha dwellers ready for self-immolation (Video)

Minsk dwellers are going to block Independence Avenue protesting against infill construction.

Construction workers built a metal fence to enclose the territory of a small park in Uruchcha district. Local inhabitants tried to hinder them, but construction workers called police. The locals are going to resort to extreme measures to defend their park, Nasha Niva newspaper reports.

They are ready to block the city's central street and appeal to Lukashenka. One of the dwellers even said she was ready for self-immolation.

We remind Minsk dwellers protest against construction of six blocks of flats for riot policemen in the district. The construction works have already begun in spite of their protests. The locals said yesterday they exhausted all legal measures of struggle.
