Ministry of Justice to Janna Litvin about imposed travel restrictions: Do not have any complaints

Ministry of Justice has officially informed the chairman of the Belarusian Association of Journalists Janna Litvin that it does not have any complaints and did not appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to stop her from leaving Belarus.

The Ministry of Justice stated in a letter that it did not include Lytvyn to the list of those restricted to travel abroad and did not address the case to the Ministry of internal affairs. Ministry of Justice officials have promised the head of the Belarusian Association of Journalists that they themselves will address to law enforcement agencies for termination of the ban on her departure, reports the press service of the Belarusian Association of Journalists.

On March 15, 2012 Janna Litvin was supposed to fly to Warsaw from the airport "Minsk-2", but at passport control the head of the journalistic association was informed that she has "a temporary ban to travel abroad", and put a stamp to her passport to refuse to leave the country.

Later, Janna Litvin has officially received a letter from the department of citizenship and migration of the Sovetski district of Minsk, stating that depart from Belarus was banned at a request of the Ministry of Justice "in connection with the case of bankruptcy".
