Vinsent: Taking part in circus is wrong

A popular Belarusian rapper talks about his attitude toward the “parliamentary elections”.

The musician is confident Belarusians understand the situation in the country and necessity of changes without explanations of politicians, Belgazeta learned from him.

“I don't know. What's the sense of talking to people? Belarusians are clever people. They understands everything and know everything. We can say our people are downtrodden or not, but every Belarusian understands everything. Even dwellers of remote villagers realizes the situation in the country in the back of their mind. I think we have no elections. There's no need to vote. These pickets are crap. Taking part in a circus is wrong. A picket is a chance to tell people something? But everyone knows the situation. No dummies here,” Vinsent says.

We remind that Vinsent played a role in Andrei Kureichik's film Above the Sky and had the main role in Viva Belarus movie by Krzysztof Łukaszewicz.

He also comments on dismissal of actor Anatoly Kot from Belarusfilm studio after his role of a general from the Belarusian law-enforcement agencies in the Polish film.

“The core of the conflict is clear: Belarusfilm has a blacklist of actors, who won't be given roles. They are, for example the actors who played in Viva Belarus. It's obvious! There is a blacklist of musicians. Now a blacklist of actors appeared,” he says.
