A collector of signatures for an independent candidate is summoned to the KGB

The KGB pressure on Mogilev collector of signatures Uladislau Yarashou continues.

Today, on August 16, an unknown person called Uladislau Yarashou, a member of the initiative group of the candidate for "deputies" of the movement "For Freedom" Uladimir Punchenka and "invited" him to come for a conversation to the Mogilev Regional Directorate of the KGB, says Human Rights Center "Viasna".

The guy refused, referring to the fact that he did not break any laws and did not receive an official subpoena to visit the KGB.

Recall that the first encounter of Uladislau Yarashou with a KGB officer took place on August 14, when the latter actually broke into the apartment of the activist and talked with him for 20 minutes. The KGB officer was trying to find out from the student of Mogilev State University of Arcady Kuliashou how much he receives for the collection of signatures, who manages the process and organizes it.

He also threatened expulsion to Yarashou from the University in case of non-cooperation with the organs of state security.
