Vasil Parfenkau was transferred to the prison № 6 in Baranavichy

There were attempts today to convey a parcel for the political prisoner, situated on Volodarskaja Street in Minsk.

But the administration of detention center #1 did not accept it, saying that today Vasily is transfered to the prison # 6 in Baranovichy.

This news was posted on facebook by democratic activist Anna Shaputska.

Recall, on July 24, Minsk City Court declined an appeal against the sentence of Parfenkau's arrest for 6 months for non-compliance with the rules of preventive surveillance, set by the court.

On May 29, Vasily Parfenkau was convicted under the Article 421 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus by the judge of  Piershamaiski district Syarhei Bandarenka. Preventive monitoring for a period of one year, in violation of which was convicted former political prisoner, was set for him since January 5, 2012. The reason for this was participation of  Parfenkau in public life after he, among other prisoners of Square-2010, was released in August 2011 in accordance with the decree of Lukashenka for clemency.
