He was denied registration and then summoned to the KGB

Today activist Dzianis Dashkevich from Rogachev was summoned to the local KGB office via phone.

Dzianis was asked to come, with his passport, for a "conversation", and "as soon as possible". A KGB official did not elaborate what business will be the conversation about and in what capacity Dashkevich is summoned to the District Committee State Security, says Human Rights Center "Viasna".

According to "Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections", to the conversation in  KGB was also summoned Dashkevich’s wife and several local activists.

Recall, yesterday, the potential candidate on Rogachevsky electoral district was denied registration under the guise that, supposedly, 80 percent of the signatures collected for Dashkevich were invalid.

Dashkevich is also known as the organizer of the action for return of "Dazhynki" to Rogachev.
