The Ambassador of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan promised to give Bakiyev

The Ambassador of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Viktor Denisenko had met with the protesters and promised to engage closely with extradition of Zhanysh Bakiyev.

Ambassador of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Viktor Denisenko met with the leaders of Meken Sheyitteri and Aikol Ala-Too Public Associations and Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Askar Beshimov. Arstanbek Sagyndykov, co-chairman of Meken Sheyitteri Public Association, reported to 24.kg news agency.

According to him, during the meeting Viktor Denisenko said that the Embassy worked closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of Kyrgyzstan. “It was promised that from now on diplomats will meet with Askar Beshimov every three days and will report at what stage will be the case of Bakiyevs’ extradition. We decided to give them time. Anyway, one day will be not enough to bring Bakiyevs. Now protesters are breaking up,” Arstanbek Sagyndykov added.

Recall, today the members of Meken Sheyitteri and Aikol Ala-Too Public Associations are holding a peaceful really near the Embassy of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan. They demand Belarus to extradite wanted Zhanysh Bakiyev and Kurmanbek Bakiyev and their confidants. The relatives of killed and wounded on April 7 intend sticking out. Later it was reported that Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister Askar Beshimov arrived to the protesters.
