Barysau democrat denied registration

Anatol Bukas has been denied registration at the extraordinary session of the district election commission.

Editor-in-chief of the Barysau-based “Barysauskiya Naviny” independent newspaper running for Parliament in constituency No. 62, has been denied registration on the ground that he reportedly failed to report on the car he had sold back in 2011.

A decision adopted by election commission No. 62 argues that the potential candidate sold his car in 2011. Meanwhile, Mr. Bukas claims he sold it in 2010.
