Deputy head of the pipe workshop of Belarusian Metallurgical Plant has been detained

He is suspected in taking out bearings on an official car from the factory.

These bearings are very expensive - up to several thousand dollars each. Deputy head of the department was called out from his holiday and removed from duties. The website ucpb.org already reported that earlier that time the city was disturbed by rumors about a dozen of detainees.

"This investigation also involved the deputy chief of the railway department. The others stay out of it.  For now, - says a BMP worker, who asked not to write his last name - Although the main distributor “got” to the emergency room, that means that people are trying to avoid being at workplaces this time."

According to the employee, this is the result of failure of the accounting system and control of movement of property, which operated at the factory a few years ago. They started to break it at the time of General Director Adrianau and Chief Engineer Matochkin, which now is wanted by Rogachiov Interior Department in connection with some case. At least, so says the local regional newspaper.

The plant employs more than 12,000 people in the region and is one of the largest metal working enterprises in Belarus.
