They were invent by a guy from Gomel, it is planned to produce them for the World Hockey Championship, if he is to take place in Minsk after all.

A sample of the new device flatware was created in Gomel College of Mechanical Engineering. The hybrid of knife, fork, and stick was invented by Stanislau Galkousky and made of stainless steel. The first model of the fork-sticks is slightly smaller than a standard flatware. This is actually a miniature hockey stick with three prongs on the end and cutting bottom surface. Due to the fact that the handle is at the top, the pressure of the cutting surface is quite high, informs BelTA.

The sample was produced by college students under the guidance of teachers. As the author of the invention explains, for mass sale this fork-stick is designed as plastic and disposable one. Metal model is for merchandising.

The author has coined the name for his invention - "Chicken-paw". Fork-stick-knife really looks like a chicken feet, which in XX century has become a symbol of pacifism. Sport also has pacifist orientation, in times of ancient Greece the Olympic Games was could stop all wars.
