If Lukashenka said that the devaluation will not happen, expect the opposite, said the politician.
Chairman of the United Civil Party (UCP) Anatoly Lyabedzka commented to charter97.org on Lukashenka's statement that devaluation will not happen.
"The statement of the dictator means that, most likely, it will happen. I proceed from the last year's experience, when the ruler was saying that there will be no devaluation, but it happened," - said the politician.
"Moreover, the economic situation in Belarus today is unstable. And before every "elections" the authorities have a desire to "appease" people by raising salaries. And the authorities print unsubstantiated rubles. So that the economy is against Lukashenka", - said Anatoly Lyabedzka.
Recall, speaking on September 11 at a meeting on economic performance in the current year, the dictator said:
"Many are now talking, I do not know from whom, about the devaluation, denomination, and so on. But the draft budget, as you can see, is in current trillions of rubles, and we do not plan any devaluation and denomination"- quoted the dictator's words his press service.
"You should explain to people that we are not going to make devaluation. There is no such need today to devalue the currency", - said Lukashenka.
