Mikalai Dziadok is deprived from all visits, phone calls and parcels

The colony is a place of constant pressure on the prisoner.

Aliaxandar Dziadok, the father of political prisoner Mikalai Dziadok, told the website charter97.org about pressure and provocations against the son from the side of the colony's administration.

"Mikalai is still in solitary confinement, the penalty period has been extended to five days. He is suppressed by administration officials. They provoke my son to violatу the order, making him do the work, which is considered degrading in the prison environment. He is still deprived from parcels from the outside, visits and phone calls. We can communicate with him only through letters," - said Aliaxandar Dziadok.

"It is also very difficult for Mikalai to receive medication. He has problems with the stomach and digestive system, he sought for medical help, which he did not received," - said the father of the political prisoner.

"My son wrote complaints about conditions of detention, but some of them didn’t come to the Department of Corrections, were lost “within the colony”, - said Aliaxandar Dziadok.

Recently, Mikalai Dziadok was visited by a lawyer, with whom he discussed the appeal of the fact that  Mikalai was deprived of Chernobyl certificate.

"My son was born in Bragin in 1988, he suffered from the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. He should have been released according to the law "On amnesty" in 2010, as a victim of the accident. The Supreme Court deprived Mikalai Dziadok from that certificate, arguing that there is no evidence that Mikalai was born in Bragin. But there is a birth certificate that says that Mikalai was born in Bragin, the Supreme Court did not consider this evidence. Thus, the court didn’t go along the way of law, but did everything to not apply the law", - said the father of the prisoner.

"But Mikalai keeps a stiff upper lip. He said that in any case he will not write a petition for clemency, the more to the name of the person that have imprisoned him. My son reasonably believes himself innocent and intends to seek the truth," - said Aliaxandar Dziadok.

Recall, Mikalai Dziadok, and also Igor Alinevich, Aliaxandar Frantskevich, and Maxim Vetkin have been convicted by Zavadskoj court of Minsk city on May 27, 2011. They were charged with a series of attacks on buildings and burnings, in particular – conduct of an unauthorized anti-military rally near the building of the Ministry of Defence in 2009; throwing Molotov cocktails at the territory of Russian Embassy in Minsk and the prison building on Akrestina Street in 2010. Mikalai Dziadok is sentenced to 4.5 year of a colony of a strict regime.
