Brest opposition activist gets his car tyres punctured (Photo)

Someone punctured four tyres of Brest activist Dzyanis Turchanyak's car at night.  

The activist parked his car near his block of flats. His brother Kanstantin saw at about 23:30  that the tyres had been punctured. He found it suspicious that the whole street was dark and a man was moving away from activist's car. They man left the site in the car, which was waiting for him nearby, Euroradio reports.

Dzyanis Turchanyak thinks it is revenge for his activity during the election campaign.

“I link the incident to my activity as an election agent for candidate Alyaksanr Melnik. We were active in both observation and filing complaints. I think it was done to hinder my movement in the city. It's possible that I will face other provocations, for example a detention. They started with puctures,” he said.

According to the public activist, he applied to the police. His brother Kanstanin remembered the registration number of the car that the anonymous used. Police are looking for the car of probable provocateurs.
