Voter turnout: data of commissions and observers differ significantly

Serious discrepancies in the number of voters are being observed.

Independent observers from the project “Election observation: theory and practice” watched increased activity of voters at several polling stations on September 20, Nasha Niva newspaper reports.

Observers counted only 21 voters at the 365th polling station in Minsk's 101st constituency. But the final report of the commission contained the figure 115, which is five times more.

Queues of students were observed at the 595th Uskhodni polling stations in Minsk's 107th constituency located in Polytechnic College. There were 124 voters on September 20 and half as many during the previous two days. According to observers, an observer from Belaya Rus pro-governmental organization, who is a college teacher, controlled the process.
