Where did Lukashenka live in Baku?

30

Ruler’s press-service conceals the information on where he stayed during his visit to Azerbaijan.

The time before last, in the spring of 2007, Lukashenka stayed, according to the local media, in the residence of Azerbaijan’s president, where only the quests of the country’s leader could stay.

In the course of that visit the Belarusian ruler refused from living at any of the hotels in Baku. Even Excelsior with its 5+rating. Although, as it was pointed out, in the rooms of this hotel stayed the first parties of Turkey, Cyprus, Russia and other countries.

The residence of Azerbaijan’s leader, where high quests stay, is located not far from Baku city center, the capital also called a Wind City.

- We know that it is luxurious, but you cannot see the building itself from the street. The thing is that it stands behind a fence of no less than two meters high, - the administrator of the Excelsior hotel told Salidarnasc in 2007.

The story remains silent on where Lukashenka stayed in 2010 on his visit to Azerbaijan. The information about that is traditionally kept in secret by his press-service. Just like this time in 2013.

The head of the press-service – Siarhiej Pielushkievich – accompanies the official Belarusian delegation in Azerbaijan. In a conversation with a Salidarnasc’s reporter he said he was in Baku, but could not tell where Lukashenka stayed.

In turn, at the Excelsior hotel they told that Lukashenka would not stay with them and advised to address other hotels. Considering Lukashenka’s requirements and preferences, journalists looked up the rating of Baku’s most fashionable hotels (according to tripadvisor.ru’s latest data). They found the Four Seasons hotel in the first place of the ranking. But no success there either: the hotel’s manager refused to tell anything about the guests, having referred to the company’s policy.

By the way, Lukashenka and his suite already stayed at a hotel of the Four Seasons chain, although it was in 2011 during the visit to Qatar.

From the description of the hotel in Doha: this is a luxurious resort with twelve massage rooms, with skin and body therapy; a beach with the full list of services and a dock with yachts for water sports.
