Ksenia Sobchak: Most original ‘present’ for made by Lukashenka

Famous Russian television anchorwoman celebrates her birthday today.

“Lukashenka declared me persona non-grata in Belarus. Now to the question “What was your most original birthday present?” I answer without thinking it over”, - Ksenia Sobchak posted on Twitter.

We would remind that it became know today that Lukashenka flayed officials and demanded that the Russian television anchor was forbidden to enter Belarus. The dressing-down was related to Lukashenka’s nomination for the Silver Galosh.

On 30 October the 17-th annual award ceremony of the Silver Galosh took place in the State Kremlin Palace. Ksenia Sobchak was one of the hosts of the ceremony. The prize is awarded for “the most questionable achievements” and is organized by the Silver Rain radio station. Lukashenka’s nomination fell into the “Plagiarism of the year or the Twin has secretly approached” category. The Belarusian ruler was told to had imitated Putin: after the Russian president fished a weighty pike, Lukashenka claimed he had caught a 57-kg sheatfish.
