Police detained Litesound band musicians in forest

In the evening on 12 March the members of the Litesound band brothers Uladzimir and Dzmitry Karakins were detained in the area of Zaslauskaje water storage basin.

As the father of the brothers and the band’s director Yury Karakin reported, the musicians were looking for a place in the forest for filming a new video. Suddenly policemen appeared and detained the artists, BelaPAN reports.

“They were kept in a car for two hours and made them turn off the mobiles. Now they have taken them to the Zhdanovichy police station. No protocol was composed”, - Karakin-senior said.

According to him, the search for a place for the video was taking place “not far from Lukashenka’s residence, but from another side”.

The band Litesound participated in the international song competition Eurovision 2012.
