Byalyatski's book presentation in Minsk

A book includes literary texts and essays written by Byalyatski before imprisonment and in jail.

Radio Svaboda notes that Ales Byalyatski is the first person to introduce the term “Belarusian prison literature”.

The presentation takes place in the BPF party office (Chernyshevsky Street 3) at 6 p.m.

Ales Byalyatski was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for alleged tax frauds in November 2011. The human rights activist didn't admit his guilt and said he had spent the money on helping victims of the regime.
