Police interrogates oppositionist’s neighbors

Policemen from Slonim’s PD started interrogating the neighbors of the head of Slonim’s BChD office Ivan Biadko.

They informed the activist personally about that. The policemen, according to the neighbors, asked them whether many people gather in Ivan Biadko’s house in Pushkin street, whether they shout, drink etc. After the conversations policemen compose interrogation protocols and have them signed by the dwellers of Pushkina street, Belarusian Christian Democracy’s press-service reports.

Policemen simply say: “Sign it… and that is all”.

According to Ivan Biadko, policemen are making a dossier on him.

They want to fine me or forbid the activists of the local association of democratic forces to gather in my house. The thing is that they have not been giving us premises for meetings in the recent years, that is why we sometimes gather in my house. This has become a reason for such an interrogation of the neighbors. Although all the neighbors said that there are no carousals in my house, but only civilized and intelligent people gather, I do not know what the policemen wrote in the protocols”, - Ivan Biadko said.
