Belarusian wins gold at FIG Rhythmic World Cup

Leader of the Belarusian national team Melitina Stanyuta clinched gold in the individual all-round routines at the third 2013 FIG Rhythmic World Cup in Bucharest, Romania, on 21 April.

In the individual all-round four routines (hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon) Melitina Stanyuta posted 69,350 points. Alina Maksimenko of Ukraine came second scoring 69,150 points. Bronze was claimed by Russian Darya Svatkovskaya (68,900 points).

In February the Belarusian won three gold and two silver medals at the first leg of the 2013 FIG Rhythmic World Cup finished in Tartu, Estonia. Melitina Stanyuta took the title in the ball, clubs and ribbon routines. She also took silver in the hoop event and in the individual all-round four routines standings. The Belarusian clinched silver (ribbon) and bronze (clubs) medals at the second 2013 FIG Rhythmic World Cup in Lisbon, Portugal in early April.
