The general director of the Minsk meat processing plant is suspected of accepting a $4,000 bribe.
It should be reminded that charter97.org was the first to report about the arrest of Uladzimir Lazouski, the general director of the Minsk meat processing plant, for bribery. A site reader reported with a link to his relatives working on the plant that Lazouski is accused of accepting a bribe. The information was implicitly confirmed on the plant. A charter97.org correspondent was told in the director's office that “he is out of the office at the moment and won't appear here soon.”
BelaPAN news agency has learnt from law enforcers today that a criminal case over part 2 of article 40 of the Criminal Code (accepting a bribe) was initiated against the general director of the Minsk meat processing plant by Minsk's Kastrychnitski district police department.
It has not been defined yet which of the Investigation Committee's department will investigate the case.
The general director is suspected of accepting a $4,000 bribe from the director of a private firm for transferring a sum of money for performed repair works.
